The How to play Treasure Hunt poster is a guide to the game Treasure Hunt. The guide as well as the game can be found in the Captain's Quarters when Rockhopper docks The Migrator at the Beach at certain periods of the year.

The guide contains five page, with one containing a diagram of the Treasure Hunt box.

AIM OF THE GAME

Two players will have to work together to dig up as many buried treasure they could locate before they run out of turns.

THE BOARD

Each player will either have to dig horizontally or vertically, depending on whether they sit to the left or right of the game box.

HOW TO PLAY

Both players have alternate turns, meaning that Player 1 would go first, then Player 2, then back to Player 1. Both players have 6 turns each. First, Player 1 would choose which row to dig first. Then, Player 2 would select which column to dig. Sand or snow would be dug all the way down if both players' dig intersects with each other's.

SHINES IN THE SAND

Look out for shines in the sand or snow, especially those that are very close to each other. This is because there may be a chance of buried treasure including gems and emeralds.

THE TREASURES
  • Coins (which are Peppermint Candy during Holiday Parties) have a value of 1 coin each.
  • Gems (which are Candy Canes during Holiday Parties) have a value of 25 coins each.
  • Emeralds (which are Christmas ornaments during Holiday Parties) have a value of 100 coins each. These are the rarest treasure, as they do not appear in every sandbox.
ENDING THE GAME

The game will end if both players used up all of their 6 turns. All completely revealed treasure on the board has their coin values added up and each player receives that total sum of coins.
