- Dancing with this item equipped would cause you to breakdance.
- Dancing with this item and clothes on, only notes would come out from the boombox.
- Cadence carried an almost identical Boombox on her penguin.
- During the first few hours of the Music Jam 2017, the boombox was unobtainable. This was quickly fixed.
- Due to a bug, people who bought this item during HTML5, musical notes wouldn't appear when the special dance was played. They only appeared when the special dance was played with other items equipped.
- This bug was not fixed.
