The April Fools' Party 2020 was a party in Club Penguin Rewritten. It was confirmed in issue #150 of the Club Penguin Times and began on March 26, 2020. The party ended on April 2, 2020.

Rookie's first visit during this party on March 27, 2020 was to the server Snow Avalanche, making him the first mascot to visit a safe chat server.
On March 28, 2020, Club Penguin's former community manager Spike Hike was online as part of a meetup that he used to host, called "Spike Saturday."
As part of April Fools' Day itself on April 1, 2020, players who logged in might have received a popup containing a message saying that they were grounded as they had "played too much recently".^[2]
