Coins for Change is an annual virtual charity that has allowed penguins to donate their virtually earned coins to various booths and stands placed in-game on Club Penguin Rewritten. Real money is then given to charities because of the virtual contribution.

History

2017

On December 10, it was announced that Coins for Change was cancelled, due to their Privacy Policy and US Fair Use of Education law. [citation needed] However, it was brought back on December 12, 2017, and the money was from their ads on the website.

One day later, they announced the charities they would donate to, and those charities would be Lumos, WWF, and Make a Wish Foundation.[citation needed]
