It also tells the day of the week. On the side of the clock tower, there is a target that will spin around when hit with a snowball, which hints that this is the power source for the clock's internal mechanism; however it was just an encouragement for penguins to take interest in the clock tower, as it can work properly without the frequent mechanism boost. A plaque was located nearby, and if you click on it, it would show an "engraved" message about its construction and release.

Template:Machine infobox The Clock Tower is a large structure located at the Snow Forts which was built by Gary the Gadget Guy. It only tells Pacific Standard Time ("Penguin Standard Time", or "PST" for short), which is the main time zone used in Club Penguin Rewritten, to help penguins from varied time zones when holding parties at their igloo or elsewhere.

Trivia

  • There used to be a glitch on Club Penguin Rewritten which showed an incorrect timing of the PST.
    • For instance, when last checked on 1st June 2017, the Clock Tower displayed 12:38 am, Sunday. But actually, when looking at the website https://time.is/PT for reference of accurate PST timing, it showed 03:04 am, Thursday, 1st June 2017.
      • This has been observed multiple times. When the player logs into the game, the Clock always goes back to 12:38 am, Sunday.
      • The clock timing will continue to move so long the player is online, like a normal clock.
  • A plaque is located nearby, and if you click on it, it would show an "engraved" message about its construction and release.
  • During the Medieval Party, the clock was wooden with 3 shields.
  • Below the target is a secret coded message, which says "By G" (the "G" stands for Gary, also known as Gary the Gadget Guy or Agent G). This tells players Gary may have invented the Clock Tower.
  • Throwing 10 consecutive snowballs at the Clock Tower's target will earn the player the Clock Target Stamp.
  • The Clock Tower was broken, according to the PSA Mission 7: Clockwork Repairs. It was subsequently repaired by the player after the mission.
  • The Clock Tower has also been involved in EPF field-ops.
