- It is Club Penguin Rewritten's first custom item.
- It is based on the original concept of the Party Hat.
- Only 428 penguins have this item in their inventory.[1]
- It is similar to the 7th Anniversary Hat.
- It's in-game sprite changed temporarily once, but it later changed back to the original when it was fixed up.
- There was a glitch where if you waved, the hat would tilt in the wrong direction.
- There was another glitch where this item was not available, even if it was in your inventory; this glitch was fixed.
- It appeared in issue #44 and #48 of the Club Penguin Times.
- It appeared in a display case in the Coffee Shop during the 3rd Anniversary Party.
